Heidi is a rescue. She's fluffy and adorable and looks like she wants to be your best friend. She does not want to be your best friend.

Every time we go on a walk, people stop, coo, and start reaching down to pet her. Every single time, I have to step in and explain that she gets nervous around strangers. It's a lot. For me, and honestly way more for her.

One day I thought — there has to be a better way to say this before someone's hand gets too close. I found a need, figured others probably had the same one, and Grumpy Dog Love was born.

I started this shop with my 13-year-old son. I handle the designs, he handles the social. We're figuring it out together — one bandana at a time.

If you have a reactive, anxious, or just plain selective dog, this shop is for you. Your dog deserves to enjoy their walk. So do you.
